We were happy to see many of our alumni brothers and their families attend Homecoming 2015! We enjoyed a cookout at 807 Mound St. and spent time playing cornhole, trading stories, and learning more about the history of our chapter. For questions about Homecoming 2016, please contact the current High Rho, Alex Zaplatosch, at email@example.com.
This weekend we hosted the first annual Lambda Chi Alpha Wiffleball Tournament. Six teams participated, and we raised over $200 to donate food to Feeding America. Congrats to Sigma Alpha Iota for winning the women’s bracket and to Sigma Phi Epsilon for winning the men’s bracket. Special thanks to everyone who participated.

This month, we were challenged by President Heckler to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. On August 30th, we accepted that challenge. With the help of the women of Kappa Delta, our 21 of our brothers along with the men of Phi Delta Theta had a cold shower outside of 807 Mound. We also donate over $115 to ALS Association. You can find the video here or on our Facebook page.
On May 5th, Greek Life hosted the year in review and Fraternity and Sorority Awards. Of all of the many accomplishments of Valparaiso University’s Greek Life as a whole, Lambda Chi Alpha received five awards in total including: SAAFE certification, Excellence in Chapter Management, Excellence in Alumni Development, Excellence in Public Relations, and Values in Action for our Brothers Cooling/Warming others event. Also, Brother Josh Bieck was given an award for President of the Year.
See the brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha dance and sing at UPC’s Songfest.
Thanks to everyone who helped us crush our $1,000, and raise $1,277 to support cancer research.
